I ran out of coins
Walk to ON THE HOUSE, the giant red free-pull machine by the front doors, and pull the handle when its lamp says READY. One pull an hour, worth 1,000 coins on average — sometimes a lot more. New guests also get 10,000 coins when they check in.
Coins can't be bought. There are no in-app purchases in Sunspire.
Can I win real money or cash out?
No. Sunspire is a social casino game played entirely with coins, which are play money with no cash value. Nothing can be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged for real money or real-world prizes.
What are tickets and the prize counter?
The arcade is downstairs (take the escalator beside the front doors). Arcade cabinets like pinball and the pushers pay tickets instead of coins. Spend tickets at the prize counter on in-game items: gear like the scooter, hats, a pet, and arcade cabinets for your room. Prizes exist only inside the game.
How do I get a bigger room?
Visit the front desk in the lobby. Rooms go from the Standard Room to the Suite to the Penthouse, and you furnish them in Decorate mode. Take the guest tower elevator in the lobby to go up to your room.
How do I play a machine or a table?
Tap anywhere to walk there, or press and drag for the thumb-stick. Walk up to a machine, table, booth or cabinet to sit down. Each one has a Pays or Rules button with its paytable and rules. The how-to-play cards are at the front desk any time.
Is my progress backed up? What about a new phone?
Sunspire has no accounts and no cloud sync. Your save lives on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes the save. Restoring a full iPhone backup that includes the app usually brings your resort back with it.
The web demo on this site keeps its own separate save in your browser.
There's no sound
Check your volume and that your iPhone isn't in silent mode. On any machine, the speaker button turns the game's sound on and off.
How do I start over?
Front desk › Stats › Reset save. This wipes your coins, tickets, room and stats and can't be undone.
Why is it rated 17+?
Sunspire simulates casino games (slots, blackjack, Texas hold'em, roulette and more), so it's rated for adults, even though no real money is involved. Practice or success at social casino games does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
Does Sunspire collect my data?
No. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and the app works offline. Read the full privacy policy.
