Privacy Policy
Effective September 15, 2026
- Sunspire collects no data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
- The app works offline and never sends anything about you to us or anyone else.
- Your coins, room and progress are saved only on your device.
- There is nothing to buy. Coins and tickets have no cash value.
Sunspire is a game made by The Growth Yard (Austin Lee Kennedy), "we" below. This policy covers the Sunspire app for iPhone and the playable web demo at thegrowthyard.com/sunspire.
Information we collect
None. Sunspire has no servers that receive information about you, and it contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking software. It does not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos, location or any other personal information. We don't know who plays the game or how.
Your game save
Your balance, tickets, room, furniture, prizes, stats and settings are stored on your device only. On iPhone, a copy is also kept in the app's own on-device storage so iOS can't clear your progress when space runs low. Neither copy is uploaded anywhere. We can't see your save and can't restore it.
Deleting the app deletes your save. If you back up your iPhone, the backup may include the save, and that backup is controlled by you and Apple. You can also wipe your save at any time in the game from Front desk › Stats › Reset save.
No purchases, no real money
Sunspire has no in-app purchases and never asks for payment details. Coins are play money: you get them free when you check in and from the hourly bonus. Coins and tickets can't be bought, sold, cashed out or exchanged for anything outside the game, and "prizes" are in-game items only.
Diagnostics
If something goes wrong, the game keeps a short list of recent error messages on your device to help us fix bugs. It is never sent automatically. In the lobby, Front desk › Stats › Diagnostics shows it as plain text with a Copy button, and it only leaves your device if you choose to paste it into an email to us. It includes the app version, your coin balance, where you were in the resort and the error text. It contains nothing that identifies you.
Permissions
Sunspire does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, photos, contacts or Health data, and it does not send notifications. It plays sound effects (mute them with the speaker button on any machine) and uses your iPhone's vibration motor for haptic taps.
The website and web demo
The playable demo on thegrowthyard.com runs in your browser and saves your progress in that browser's local storage. It is not sent to us. The Sunspire landing page uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page visits in aggregate without cookies and without identifying you. This privacy page and the support page use no analytics at all.
If you join the launch list on the landing page, your email address is delivered to our inbox by the form service FormSubmit. We use it only to tell you when Sunspire is available, we never sell or share it, and we'll remove it if you ask.
Age
Sunspire is rated 17+ on the App Store and is intended for adults. It simulates casino games with play money, does not offer real-money gambling and is not directed to children. It doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If Sunspire ever starts collecting any data, we will say so here and in the App Store privacy details before that version is released.
